OK, another "what if" for those of you with B3 headliner experience.

The headliner in my '91 90q20V is in great shape. Perfect - no ripples, bubbles or stains.

I want to install a rear roof-mounted antenna (combo AM/FM/GPS amplified job by Hirschmann). I have no fear of drilling a hole in the sheetmetal. I have no fear of running the proper cabling and wiring. I am deathly afraid of screwing up my very nice headliner.

Can somebody give me some tips to minimize the potential of me having to go to an interior shop and cry over a steadily-lightening wallet?
