You don't understand the scope of the APR Fault Code Erase feature.

The way the APR feature works, you can turn the ignition on, enter commands via the cruise control stalk, and it will clear the ECU of stored fault codes, i.e. codes that would cause your Check Engine Light to come on.

The feature does not preempt fault codes from ever appearing.

The feature does not "code out" an SAI related code.
