leaking if you remove the timing cover, possibly with an inspection mirror. You can see where mine was leaking at the bottom of the water pump, timing belt was changed by some shop that the PO had chosen, only 6k miles. They didn't clean the block at all when I got in there.. not a single leak in almost 20k now, after scrubbing and cleaning, with just the O-ring.

Oh, and the leak only happened after driving and the car cooling down.
