The engine is a 2.8 btw
So the crank housing needs replacing, as this car was terribly taken care of in it's life. Which I'm 100% sure means pulling the upper oil pan if I want to do it right. I know it's long and intensive job and the engine has to go up and the subframe has to swing down. Sorry for being vague, but that's about all the details I've found after reading until my eyes went fuzzy. Presently the car's front is all off and the lower oil pan off.
What's next?
(While I wait for any and all replies I will be visiting my storage for my hoist)
Simple timing belt/cam seal & crankshaft seal job turned into this *sigh*
