...is the dreaded fuse 14 issue, but easily solved by just disconnecting the rear footwell light. Move your seat up so you can reach underneath the seat for the harnesses, and disconnect the small black two-wire connector under there. Should eliminate that problem.

The issue is the wiring inside the seat over time gets frayed and rubs on some metal innards. So no more shorting that circuit by disconnecting the footwell light. Give it a try.
