A Technical Service Bulletin was posted by Audi several years ago regarding the Camshaft Adjuster in all the 3.0L engines between 2002-2004.

Also noticed that at initial point of the rubbing Timing Belt sound, the engine's RPM wasn't returning back to the normal 750 RPM level, it stayed at 1,000-1,100 RPM.

Hopefully, this gets resolved soon.
