INCREASE the value of the car....come selling time it will go quick too....manual v8's sell fast.....swap a sport interior if not already equipped with one and you could have a car worth $10k+.

Personally I'd use a 5-speed manual trans as they have no synchronizer issues and are a lot cheaper....bulletproof.
