When 11 years ago...mine had not mineral oil in the system..and it growled !

The previous owner's indy changed the power steering fluid with a non-mineral oil based fluid. The power steering growled on every turn of the steering wheel. When checking the first time the fluid level, I noted a notice labelled on the reservoir "USE MINERAL OIL ONLY" So I bought a quart of Pentosin 7 mineral oil and flushed all the previously changed fluid out and replaced with mineral oil...and have never heard the growle ever again!

Seems there was a reason AUDI warned to use only mineral oil!
