I attempted to do some diagnostic testing by checking measure block 066. Unfortunately, I got only an "Error". I don't know if this result occurred because some component is broken or because a pre-facelift D2 does not have measuring block 066 or some further reason that I have not thought of.
The other issue I have had for years is the following code.
00734 - Potentiometer in Central Vent (G142)
30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent
I erase it and it eventually comes back. The central vent sounds a bit like an aluminum soda/can popping when it tries to activate or perhaps this sound is something unrelated. I will pull the vent and try to clean the potentiometer.
I also have the all too common: 6825 - EVAP Emission Control Sys
P0441 - 35-00 - Incorrect Flow
I will check the filter on the EVAP canister, etc.
