It's just a drive shaft and the documentation has instructions for rebuilding it

But I can't claim to know how hard it is or isn't. It's not unusual for it to be difficult to get a two-piece driveshaft apart to replace the carrier bearing, though. It took experienced guys at a shop hours to do the one on my '92 F250 super cab long bed, which was apparently extra heavy (from a F250HD?)

I have a driveshaft and I know of another one lying around, but both in CA :)
