Sadly the diy pics on qw wiki have been replaced with an error.

I can imagine how to build one out of mostly stuff I have lying around, the trick will be to find a 5mm spacer. Maybe they will have some 5mm stock at the metal shop. The axle shafts' diameters differ by 10mm.

Here's something I consider to be a more interesting question... there was never a mark on my transmission rear output flange. I replaced the seal there and reinstalled it in no particular direction, then I reinstalled the prop shaft and it worked fine, no vibration. Do I need to check lateral runout on the transmission output shaft the same way you do at the rear final drive if you disconnect the drive shaft there, so I can make a mark? Or do I just need to adjust the carrier bearing (if necessary) while holding the drive shaft with this tool so that the drive shaft runs straight?
