Any other alternatives to the FJC 6016 R134a Tank Adapter for freon refills?

Need to get the adapter to refill my system with freon and oil. I've read that pretty much everyone has had issues with the adapter not fitting correctly most times. I know you are able to "make it" work...but just before buying it, I was just wondering if anyone has an alternative to try. I tried browsing for maybe an OEM tool but can't find any.
