When I am in Colorado, I drive home through a 2 lane winding narrow mountain highway with no shoulders. Over a 10 mile stretch last year there were 8 deaths, most of which involved bicycles or motorcycles and quite a few of those involving alchohol. I want to light the highway up so they know I am coming around a corner. I replaced the high beams with 16,000 [each, 32,000 total ] lumen led's but still have the stock xenon low beams. They look like candles next to the LED's. I also replaced the fog lamp assymblies and used LED's in those also. Seeing the huge improvement with the high beams, my question then asks if anyone has replaced the low beams with LED's? And if so, how many lumens? I don't want them to be so bright that they blind the oncomming driver.
