Yeah I used a bit and a box wrench for the tight clearance, then replaced them with hex heads

Just the two in the tight spot. The hex heads are easier to get at. I stacked some washers under them so they are not half sunk into the pan lip.
In the FL A8 with different cats there is plenty of tool room, just PFL and S8 have this issue.

For the output shaft seal I just lowered the exhaust and left the flex couplers connected. That'd also work for the trans pan if need be, but it's not so hard to finagle those two bolts out.
