Yeah, didnt bother to check it. They had bought the car from a small dealer, put new tires, battery and brakes on it, drove it <4000 miles and it died. Camshaft position sensor was showing open short to battery plus. They bought two new sensors, harness, gave up. I inherited their problem... basically paid half price for a set of new tires that came with an A8 with a broken belt, and I assume bent valves. Though after this, I am trying to avoid assumptions, so the tear down begins soon.
Question is... at what point are these PFL's not worth saving? 145K, ming blue, dirty interior, and a broken belt. Ugh.
