So about 4 months after replacing my honk-y PCV valve, the new one has begun to act up and sounds worse than the previous failure. It appears from some searching that this is a "normal" issue in an inherently flawed system... my question is this - would installing a catch can in the system help the longevity of the valve or the motor health in general? I'd really love to avoid this obnoxious honking 2-3 times per year if at all possible. Any advice is much appreciated!
