Those who have replaced their own thermostat on S8, what've you found: 82 C, 87 C or 92 C rating?

I'm in process of verifying the thermostat stuck open but considering that car has almost 139k and timing belt has been done in 2008 with 86k miles, I'll probably do the whole shebang: TB kit, thermostat, WP, cam and crank seals.
I'm confused with the fact that it seems there are 3 above mentioned available ratings found on S8. I'm almost certain mine came with 82 C but that seem somewhat cold.
I'm inclined to go with 87 C or even 92 C as that will produce cleaner combustion process and is better for overall long term engine health.
