A clean low miles nimbus grey 02 TT Roadster 225 quattro 6 speed manual with a blown block. A rod had sheared and punched a hole through the block.
Likely due to too much heat/torque. Only one intake valve was bent. Bought a new short block, reconditioned the head, new clutch, etc and swapped over the rest.
She is ready for the road. Took it out for a test drive a few days ago, fast and fun little bugger.
Love the stick shift!! H&R suspension. A bit stiff, but hugs the road like an oversized go-kart.
Anyways, looking for a new set of 18 inch wheels/tires combo. Not sure what to get? OEM or aftermarket? Suggestions/leads welcome.
Unfortunately, the MK1 TT has a 5x100 bolt pattern. Limited marked for oem wheels.
