Should I be worried? Found in oil pan of S8

I'm still getting this thing put back together after a timing belt break.

Thus far:

Replaced LHS head, gaskets, bolts, etc.
New valley pan gasket and oil check valves

Dropped the oil pan yesterday expecting to find all the bits of tensioner guides that were completely gone from the tensioner and only found a little bit of them.

However, I found this (penny for scale):

It's aluminum and the mark on the one side looks to be from an M10 bolt that was too long and pushed and broke this piece off.

I'm fairly certain that it was in there for some time and not a result of the tensioner issue / timing belt break.

There are no external oil leaks that I can tell either, so that M10 bolt is sealing whatever potential leak that it might have caused.

Unless, someone knows exactly where this is from, at this point, I'm just gonna button it up and hope for the best.

Compression and leakdown are good on all clyinders, btw.
