Anyone swapped stock reverse lights with LED? I backed up in the dark this morning. . .

and couldn't see a thing. I need to see if they are burned out or just not that bright. If anyone has made the swap, I'd be interested in knowing what they used and if the reverse lights are monitored for bulb out warnings.
