I wrung both the nut and bolt head off on one of my uprights. Had to drill it out - no fun.

I deemed it easier/better for me to remove the upright with upper control arms attached from the car so I could chuck it up in a bench vise to drill it out. Of course, the car was already up in the air on jackstands with the motor out, so it wasn't as much of an issue as it would be if it was my daily.

No fun fo' sure.
