Well I am going to tackle the driver door latch today, and I am a little nervous...

Read through dome DIY's last night and watched the videos in the sticky.
Looks like you pretty much have to disassemble the entire door including removing the frame.

They mentioned marking some stuff before removing frame, what exactly are they referring to?

Any other hints?

I get the feeling this will be a job laced with profanity and wondering whether the car will ever be the same afterwards.
