2005 4.2. What options do we have for new headlights without spending $600-$700 (per side). I have a water leak in my passenger side, after three attempts to fix, I'm over it.
Apparently the problem is the auto-level function of the projector - seems the aftermarket ones only fit the 2.7 and, at that, cars without the auto level.
Anyone successfully replaced their auto-level HID housings ? Or, is there a way to trick (via VAG?) the car into thinking it is level and not need the leveling motors (which are somehow tied to the air suspension), and then use the ebay aftermarkets?
