it can take a lot longer to try and make a plan better than to start new. This is new construction, so the sky's the limit. Your plan is the one you drew up, and it has all the boxes (rooms) you want, but you just connected them with doorways. I don't think traffic flow, layout, sight lines, etc... have been fully addressed. I'd want to do that first.

I like a ground floor MBR, but with a separate mom area and garage, it really cramps living space for 4 people. I don't like the 2nd floor
