I bought my house with one that was "a few years old".

The following year I pulled it all down.

It was a manual crank out one. The folding mechanism could not support the weight of itself and the canvas attached to it.

I will be pulling down the upper deck it was covering this week.
When I build a new lower deck, I will build a permanent roof over 2/3rds of the deck.
