We were able to fit them in by reducing/shifting a closet in a spare bedroom.

Also, why a heat pump for the second floor? Why can't he get gas there?

I know heat pumps have gotten a lot better, but I find it hard to believe it's cheaper than propane.

I'd be down there, with the GC and thinking of ways to get the main trunk up there.
