Even if using heat transfer plates. Warmboard is SO much better, it isn't even funny - and if ripping up the floors anyway, a very good option.

The Viega panels (or whatever you show in the body of your post) aren't that bad if you consider that an option.

Warmboard also has a retrofit / remodel product that is ~7/8 thick in 2' x 4' panels, but it doesn't take the place of underlaymant.
