We just renovated our half bath and my wife was hell bent on not having a transition strip between the tile and existing hw floors.
So I had to install a new 3/4" wood plank across the threshold. I stained it to match the 60 year old wood.

I'm pleased with how it came out.

I had promised to post pics of the finished product. But while the bathroom is functional, I still have to touch up the painting before I take any pics of the space.
