If you go bigger, odds are it will just get in the way (bring your hands up to put on a shirt and get your fingernails trimmed at the same time).
I would just go with flat white assuming your ceiling is white unless there is something about the design of the fan you want to draw attention to.
They do have decorative 22" fans that look like light fixtures. They move a lot less air and tend to be noisier (blades need to spin faster to make up for the smaller size). They look better than a typical ceiling fan though (everything is debatable).
