I had low expectations, but after I made a 6' long rip - with a 45 degree angle in Douglas Fir. would not have believed it. Lithium Ion changes everything.

While I've had worm drive skilsaws for decades as well as a number of sidewinders, I rarely plug in a circular saw anymore.

The Bosch is light weight, portable and very well made. I picked-up a Milwaukee 7-1/4" 18V saw when it was on sale for a stupid crazy low price last year and have honestly never used it yet. I like the little Bosch so much I bought a second one (bare tool) so I could have one in the house and one in the garage.
