Here is the end product.....the drawers are about 20.5" deep as I recall, so I cut the box down in the middle from 24" in depth to 21" and biscuit joined it back together.

I screwed it into the wall in the back and about half way under it it sits on a 2x4 on edge, I think I might of cut it down a bit. The counter top is 1" thick...so in the end, sits about 1.5" below a normal kitchen counter height. It looks like it is floating, but it's not.



I have more pictures of what I did....thought I posted them on line, but can't find them right now. If you are interested, I can post them.
