So I moved from NJ to Florida and had 500 rounds of 40S&W and and almost 2 cases of 12GA I needed shipped to myself. Looked on the UPS site and familiarized myself with all the rules and headed over to the ups store.
Lady weighed the box. 59 lbs it was going to be about $59. Then I taped on the required blue sticker and she says she couldn't ship it. Said I had to go to the UPS service center. I didn't think that was right but whatever, it's only 10 minutes away.
Get there and same thing. "Can't ship that." Now I'm getting frustrated. Asked for a supervisor and he came out and finally said it was no problem. Finally! Weighed the box and now it's only 35lbs. Lost 15lbs just like that. Whatever. $35 now so I'm happy.
