It will be the input switcher.

Shelf space isn't an issue. The main panel is close by, so more dedicated circuits aren't a huge deal.

Right now, I have a Dell 720p projector I will be using, but plan on upgrading to 1080p at some point. So I have both component & HDMI run as outputs but will only use one or the other. Most of the content will come from an HTPC that has an HDMI output, so downscaling at the moment, if anything, I guess..
