The rest of the track was really not that bad considering conditions. I think what bit everyone there was the depth of the water / slush was so great that no tire (I was on summers and Mike was on Icebears that were new this season) could evacuate the water / slush quickly enough.
So - I rode the car out using small (very small) inputs and the only casualty was to a belly pan that scooped up a ton of slush.
Being the first car out, I did use caution, but based on conditions around the rest of the course, I thought I was carrying the correct amount of speed. I was a touch off in my mental calculations. Hindsight - dead on.
