Yeah I guess it doesn't sound that bad, but she's understandably nervous about it. She doesn't do that well on her own.

The alternatives suck though - either I re-shape my career (which she won't let me do anyway) or she leaves her job and moves with me.

I just got another offer on the East coast which sounds pretty appealing too, but she would have to move with me, it's just too far. I'm just not sure whether we want to stay in chicago long term. Tough decisions!
