Never seen this before for this time of year...
Overnight it was -2C at 09H00 it was barely above 0C and perhaps we got to 7C in the afternoon.
The main highway up to the Tremblant area was very treacherous is some areas with sleet, snow and black ice covering the road. Most people are obviously on summer tires compounding the drive in very slippery conditions. Saw many cars off the road into the ditches.
Main road leading to the track and ski resort. The top of Tremblant is in the clouds. You can clearly see the snow in the fields and on the ski hill.
Close up of the ski hill from the paddock. Snow was all over the grass around the track. However the track itself was partially dry because the snow would melt as it hit the pavement. During the heavy snow showers the track would become slippery and damp but would dry up soon after.
