reminds me of an "island car" that I bought for the ex-wife when we moved to Oahu for internship...

it is common for residents coming and going to arrange sales of cars/furniture/etc. sight unseen to help with the transition. It was an old toyota corolla. she took it in for something, when they put it on the lift, the strut came falling out of the wheel well...not attached to anything. The guy wouldn't let her leave with the car he was so concerned. Other car we got was mine, an even worse Mazda MX-6 coupe. Had to add lots of water and oil EVERY DAY to keep it running. It finally died about halfway through the year.
