In general I think it makes a nice set.

I like the first three, because the skin comes off much softer - looks spot metered given the way the rest of the background gets blown out.

4 looks a bit OOF. I'm not really a fan of including the blanket in the shot or shooting down at the baby, because that's the way that everyone shoots baby shots - from their vantage point above the baby. 5 has a great expression, love it.

6 & 8 are my favorites. For family shots, I tend to use less contrast, and since it's so in vogue with baby shots, I back off the saturation to mute the colors. Not my favorite post-processing, but that's what people want so I give it to them.

7, I guess I have a bit of trouble with because the baby's detached from the parents.
