The vagabond battery system is clunky and awkward. The lack of support for HSS, the lack of options on power control, and lack of integration with the trigger to do more adjustments on the camera make it a fairly limited system nowadays.

If you get them used, cheap, then maybe it might make sense. But the same price bracket has been ripped open by the flood of chinese-made brands that are actually building up a pretty solid feature set.
