Someone here has probably been to Buckhorn, but I have yet to go. Lots more/better steakhouse options in Denver -- tons more bars and some clubs even just downtown/LoDo. I like Sullivan's Steakhouse which balances classy Chicago steakhouse while a little laid back for bachelor party, and is downtown so you can walk to bars/clubs after. If you are staying in Downtown Boulder, you can catch an express bus to Downtown Denver for a few bucks. Just mind the schedule for return if you plan to come back late.
