There are some other good options that break the bank a little less.

Bridgestone S04s are on special, $127 each for 225/45/17

The DZ101s are being replaced now by the DZ102. Sounds like it's an improvement on the DZ101 so should be a decent tire. (Note: mail in rebate currently available for the DZ102)

Another interesting newcomer is the Hankook V12 evo2. The first version (K110 evo) needed a little more sidewall stiffness, and it appears they've attempted to address that in this second version. Not much data available yet on this tire, and many of the reviews that people are putting under it are actually for the original K110 evo. (Note: currently there is a mail in rebate on evo2s)

Just a few ideas. There are many other great tires available.
