The engine pull very different, the SC V6 acts more like a V8 than the good old 2.7T. From time to time I miss the head snapping effect from the turbos. The car and chassis well there is no comparison. The B8 will turn easier and harder and rides very well on stock suspension. If you like the RAW feeling stay in the B5. Also be aware the '13 and up switched to electric power steering which has a much lighter feel than the '10-'12 with hydraulic steering.
