I used to be a snob and use the fancy shit with the funny names.
After watching the what the people around me were getting away with using The Right Stuff, Ive been converted.
It is some nasty stuff and there are places you do not want to use it, but I feel it is one of the best options for sumps and vcg.
Do not use it to seal a diff cover or 3rd member, Ive seen guys work all night trying to get it back apart so they could fix in time for the race.
