Ive noticed this is a pretty common problem (in terms of reading multiple post about it). Ive read a few peoples complaints about it where they replaced oil pumps, sending units, oil pressure switches and then checked the oil pressure. Everyones pressure turned out to be fine, but for some reason something is triggering the warning. ive never read one story of someone having the warning lights on then losing an engine. One person told me the roof drains get clogged and somehow water gets back there causing different electrical issues.

its getting warmer i dont think 5w40 would hurt.

BTW my car did the same exact thing. Everything has been replaced except the oil pump. Had the pan off and the pick up is spotless. Havent had a chance to actually check the pressure myself but since i did an oil change the warning has not re appeared.
