Or you aren't using a stock ecu but a modified one from a "tuner"

Tuning part throttle, cold start, different ambient temps, pressure, humidity etc. etc. etc. is a total pain on standalones.

Add to that knock control etc...

A "GUI" doesn't mean shit. If you are a total noob you just don't even realize that is the LEAST of your worries.

Just because the interface is easy to use for idiots doesn't mean an idiot can tune a standalone easier than the stock ECU, which truly is plug and play.
