Biggest pain was getting the headliner out the trunk opening. You have to bend the sh!t out of it to get it to fit through. That left me worried because that meant I would have to bend the sh!t out of the alcantara headliner and would be left with some nasty creases. But luckily I was able to get it in without ruining it and getting any creases. Was able to pull everything and re-install in about 5 hours.
Heres a quick write-up for anyone thinking of tackling this.
1. with small screw driver pop out the airbag covers on the drivers and passenger a-pillars.
2. with a t-25 torx bit remove the (one) screw from each a-pillar.
3. remove the gold washer clip thats behind each screw.
4. now pop off each a-pillar (3 snap clips)
5. remove the small screw from the small middle sun visor above the rear view mirror and remove visor
6. put the sunroof in the tilt position
7. pop the clear cover off the center light.
8. now you can pop off the black trim in front of that. (trim around the sunroof switch)
9. disconnect the black connector.
10. there are two screws holding the light to the roof. remove and disconnect the three plug connected to the dome light.
11. remove the circle trim cap on the drivers sun visor to access screw holding visor to the headliner.
12. remove the sun visor and disconnect the two plugs.
13. pry the cap on the sun visor clip to access the two screws and remove screws.
14. remove the circle trim cap on the passenger sun visor to access screw holding visor to the headliner.
15. remove the passenger sun visor and disconnect the one plug.
16. pry the cap on the sun visor clip to access the two screws and remove screws.
17. remove both visor lights by sliding them towards the center of the car (both drivers and passenger lights) and disconnect plugs.
18. remove driver front oh-sh!t handle by flipping the two covers down. This puts it in service mode and allows you access to the two long t25 torx bolts. Remove bolts and remove handle.
19. remove passenger front oh-sh!t handle by flipping the two covers down. This puts it in service mode and allows you access to the two long t25 torx bolts. Remove bolts and remove handle.
20. with small screw driver pop out the airbag covers on the drivers and passenger c-pillars.
21. with a t-25 torx bit remove the (one) screw from each c-pillar.
22. remove the gold washer clip thats behind each screw.
23. now pop off each c-pillar (3 snap clips)
24. to remove rear dome lights slide the panel to the right side of the car and disconnect plug.
25. remove drivers rear oh-sh!t handle by flipping the two covers down. This puts it in service mode and allows you access to the two long t25 torx bolts. Remove bolts and remove handle.
26. remove passenger rear oh-sh!t handle by flipping the two covers down. This puts it in service mode and allows you access to the two long t25 torx bolts. Remove bolts and remove handle.
27. remove all the head rests from the seats.
28. with the sunroof in the tilt position remove the black trim above the greasy track right below the glass from each side.
29. with the trim removed you now have access to the three t-25 torx screws on each side.
30. once removed you can carefully lift the glass and set it aside in a safe place
31. slide the sunroof slider towards the front. With a screwdriver remove the two screws from each side of the slider.
32. slide the slider back and the towards the front to remove.
33. now looking through the sunroof from the outside pop the black trim that goes around the opening to release the clips holding the headliner in. I used a puddy knife here and its a pita.
34. now go in the car and start pulling down on the headliner around the sunroof to release the clips and the headliner will then soon drop.
35. with the headliner resting on the seats remove all the wiring and fold down the rear seat backs.
36. slide the headliner through the trunk opening, be careful not to ruin it by creasing it.
to reinstall do everything in the reverse order. Hope this will help anyone who wants to attempt this task for whatever reason it be. Im sure on the avant there are more steps involved and getting the headliner out through the trunk is much easier.

well as the plastic trim around the rear quarter window and the rear speaker deck lid. Once those are all finish and installed I will post up some pictures of the finished work.

So scary trying to get the thing back in the car. Did you have any trouble as far as wrinkles/creases goes when you were reupholstering the headliner in alcantara? Just so everyone knows, it makes it MUCH MUCH MUCH easier if you use a fabric that stretches.
I will take some pictures this weekend and post them up. Did you end up doing a brown leather headliner in yours? or brown alcantara? Couldn't tell from the pictures on fourtitude. Your interior looks great btw.
