I have this chirping bearing noise coming from the serpentine belt area, and I can't exactly pinpoint where it's coming from. I thought up to now that it was my power steering pump, because the noise goes away when I put a light load left or right on the steering wheel. Flushed the fluid with no change. I was poking around with a flashlight and noticed that my crank pulley has a bit of runout, maybe 3-4 mm back and forth as it turns, which makes the belt wobble back and forth across the serpentine tensioner pulley. I imagine the pulley bearing probably doesn't like that very much and is dying. Tensioner was changed with my TB about 20k miles ago.

I'm a bit worried about the runout on the crank pulley! That doesn't seem normal to me, but I noticed the same thing a while ago and checked the torque and the pulley is on there nice and tight.

    What do you think?
