To give you an idea, WORST CASE SCENARIO:

if you spin, and put your vehicle in the tyre wall/guardrail, not only will you most likely have damages to your vehicle, but also to the guardrail and track.....which costs will be reclaimed from us, the ACNA, and in order for us NOT to have come back and ask you for $1,500 to fix some tyre wall, we opted to have insurance.........

FWIW, we got a nice bill for cleaning supplies after a certain individual, driving what we now call the Exxon Valdez, spilled a certain amount of oil on the track, and NOT just where he blew up his engine, but all the way back to the pits.....
