UrS4 is not a good choice for an economical commute vehicle either, so the mix it particularly bad.
You could ease the highway portion back to 60MPH to help a little. If you are looking for maintenance and repairs to bring this mileage up, I think you will spend much more in parts and effort than you will realize in mileage increase or fuel savings. PM needs to be done, and worn out/broken parts changed, just don't expect the return to be obvious and immediate. Maybe the improvement in performance from a tuning session can be worth the trip.
