Besides, all quattros from the 90s and 2000s were around 60/40 or thereabouts and the urS is magically 51/49? Yeah right, talk about wishful thinking based on a singular misprint in a car magazine.

Even the B8.5 S4 with the much shorter V6 engine, Crown Gear diff (lighter than TORSEN) and the front axle flanges right at the absolute very front of the transmission casing are only quoted at 55/45 weight distribution from Audi. The B9 unibody has a hybrid aluminum front and steel rear to help with weight distribution and reduction.

Audi has been trying to mitigate the inherent front heaviness of their cars for 35+ years. The I5 in the 1970s was originally a design compromise vs. an I6. Shorter V6 and I4's have replaced I5's and since the 2000s they have done everything they can do to V8 engines to move the weight to the back.

51/49 back in 1992? Yeah right.
